Month at the Museum Finalist: Kate McGroarty

Kate McGroarty, 24, Has Started Her One Month Living Arrangement at the Museum of Science and Indstry in Chicago

She was a winner of the Museum of Science and Industry's Month at the Museum contest and she will be living in the museum until November 18, leaving only on museum sanctioned field trips.

Aside from being a part of this experiment, Ms. McGroarty will take home $10,000 and will spend her time tweeting and live blogging from inside her 'new home'.

She will spend most of her time in a glass cube, but she does have private sleeping quarters and of course, her own private bathroom. She will be able to interact with visitors and students and be a part of a science experiment.

She has the run of the museum when it is closed for the night and she can even go up on the roof to enjoy some of the best views of the city. She also apparently plans to spend one night sleeping in the museum's U-505 German submarine according to Chicago Breaking News.

You can follow her on Twitter or Facebook.
