Katie Couric reveals bulimia battle: 'I hated myself for eating

TV broadcaster Katie Couric reveals that she suffered from bulimia for six years, and like many women, has wrestled with body-image issues.

Couric, 55, makes the stunning revelation on the Sept. 24, 2012 episode of her TV talk show during an interview with recovering bulimic Demi Lovato.

"I wrestled with bulimia all through college and for two years after that," said Katie, who battled bulimia between ages 18 and 24, when she was a student at the University of Virginia, and as she launched her TV career in Washington, D.C.
