Ham and ham products produced by Plaisirs Gastronomique Inc, a Quebec company are subject to a health warning from the CFIA becaues of the possibility of contamination by the Listeria bacterium. These products were sold between February 11 and 20.

The following warning exerpted from the CFIA page.  You may phone 1 800 442 2342 to obtain further information.

"Affected by this alert are various ham salad and ham salad products, including ham salad sandwiches, manufactured at some of the following chain stores and other independent retailers and deli stores in the province of Quebec:

Loblaws - Quebec
Provigo - Quebec
Metro - Quebec
IGA - Quebec
Bonichoix - Quebec
Boni-soir - Quebec

Voisin - Quebec
Marché Richelieu - Quebec
L'intermarché - Quebec
IGA Extra - Quebec
Omni - Quebec

Axep - Quebec
Ultramar - Quebec
Tradition - Quebec
Le dépanneur - Quebec
