Locals from the Gulf Expose BP's Pony Shows & Daily Coverups !

Note:  Some of this information comes directly from gulfemergencysummit.org videos showing locals giving first hand testimony of lack of booms, boats, crews, timely payments, media blackout and actual reductions in support, while no real needs have been met, at all !!    

Grand Isle, Louisiana - The Gulf of Mexico USA -  Locals from the Gulf Region & trusted, well known advocates visiting there, from the San Francisco Bay Area -  say the British Petroleum Oil Corporation (BP Oil or BP Energy) is putting on pure theatrics using "pony & balloon shows" to cover up true extent of hazards and deadly toxins which are causing health problems & death all over the Gulf as a direct result of lack of things like protective suits, respirators, etc.   Local children are sickened from the toxic air which is all around them. Staying indoors does not work. It's much, much more serious than anyone at BP, the Federal Government or their controlled media channels are daring to report.  

Locals speak the truth about cold hearted, spineless, highly paid men & women who do NOT care about people's lives or the environment which is proven by their actions & inactions which are the opposite of their words and visual theatrics when on camera.

BP does not want media coverage of people wearing respirators.  Corporate Profit & Image ahead of real people's lives, safety, substance and value.   BP & this Federal Government have no more credibility in the eyes of common people, around the country and the world.  Shame on them all.  May all the corrupted stand trial for their Crimes Against Humanity & Mother Earth.

1. BP conducts Pony & Balloon Shows. When media or officials arrive, BP has men, booms, ships & equipment out. After the Visit - it ALL DISAPPEARS !!

BP IS -NOT- DOING WORK TO PREVENT HARM. A FAKE SHOW COVER UPS FACT- BP IS REDUCING CLEANUP COSTS - BUT HAVEN'T DONE BUT A FRACTION.  

2. England DENIES BP is theirs in public, but says opposite in Canada Meetings. 

3. Locals are not being told of the nature of the chemicals, dispersants used and BP keeps standing down crews after media and visiting officials leave an area.  Disgraceful.

This group was formed because neither BP nor the Federal Government have seen fit to take good charge of this crisis;  and have not worked WITH the locals and have blocked local efforts to insure everyone affected is adequately protected, warned, kept informed with critical facts and justly compensated for all current and future losses.

Because BP & Government have FAILED these people, The People are stepping up to fill the gap left by lack of good leadership and integrity.

These people met to share eyewitness accounts of what's really happening (contrary to most spun mainstream corporate media reports) and to demand more work, protection & justice for some 20 Million or more residents of the Gulf States.  

People who have already been exposed to toxic clouds of gas thousands of times above EPA Safety Levels;  yet to date, no real warnings, protections, respirators or evacuation orders have been issued. Dead Silence mixed with downplayed and misleading facts and false reassurances.   

Yet, locals have already discovered BP Crews sitting idle once media or public officials leave an area.   They see a couple hundred feet of booms in front of shorelines which are miles long - covered in CRUDE OIL and DISPERSANT with unknown chemicals and evidence of bubbling acid like shorelines as these toxic cocktails heat up and get agitated by the choppy weather.

Complete, preventable disasters in the making that will affect tens of millions for generations to come, and cost people billions later -- only because of the negligent or intentionally wrong ways that BP and government are handling this crisis, today.

As far back as May, EPA reported that Benzene and other extremely hazardous toxins were in the air above the Gulf, at levels several Thousand Times Safe Levels.  Yet, no evacuations were ordered.  

Makes us wonder how we can get more Air Monitors up and running (from universities and non-profits we can trust) all around the Gulf so that everyone can BE SURE of exactly when these toxics are present and keep informed about the true levels of safety that must be measured in as many places and as often as possible, or many thousands may get sick and die, from a lack of trustworthy data and adequate warnings to evacuate.
