this particular photo was taken at fort adams which is located
in newport, r.i. overlooking narragansett bay and the atlantic ocean. looking through this massive iron gate/entrance
into the fort within one clearly gets the feelings of an abandoned, neglected, weathered and gloomy spot which was once a garrison
of security and is now listed as a u.s. historical landmark.
