Mac And Cheese

Macaroni and Cheese has become one of the side dishes that create the most giggles at the Soup Kitchen for me. The debates over mixing "shells and cheese" with "elbows and cheese"; can Annies be mixed with Kraft, and what about the Velveeta stuff - how do we incorporate that into the meal. Any true foodie knows that Mac and Cheese does not come from a box so these debates are silly at best! But for the people in need who visit the Mary and Martha's Soup Kitchen at Christ Church in Belleville our "Mac & Cheese Masala" proves to be a popular comfort food that may just recall some childhood memories of a future that was bright, full of promise, and love.
