«paludisme d'aéroport», near the airports it can happen that tourist aircrafts
bring malaria infected mosquitoes with them, called "Airport Malaria" The young
French couple was on the way from Paris airport to Nice airport southern Fance.
Here they are hospitalized for Malaria treatment. They had not left France recently.

Ils contractent le paludisme sans quitter la France

Thanks Jordan for Flag "Malaria Paris Airport", scary news for me too. At the moment I have 2 electronic mosquito repellers, a perfume diffuser; tomatoes and basilikum at the open window. Well the mosquitoes get less and dull, so easy to catch, but you never know. The set has already to be in place 4 clock when mosquitoes start to land outside.

SOLARLIFE, I like this story. It's good stuff.  At one time malaria was endemic as far north as London.  The mosquitoes in Paris are worse than Alaska!  A few years ago we were in Charles de Gaulle airport and there was a big wrapped parcel on the floor.  Every couple of minutes a great big flying something took off from it.  We left.

Thanks Barbara for Flag"Mosquitoes Malaria Airport Paris", I agree completely this is no fun, no accident. It's a lack of undertanding hygiene and setting up a warning website, like US cities do. The trouble is, how many cases have not been treated, because the patient "was not in Africa", but at the airport area. The London area, I see. On top west nile river virus and other epidemic sleepers.

Rhonda, amyjudd, Paschen thanks for Flag "Airport Malaria Paris", I appreciate your flags here, needs really attention. Doctors are not prepared to recognize Malaria, if you did not leave your country.
