This special wheelchair can be controlled using a 3D map wherein their surroundings are plotted. That map will appear in front of them while users will wear a cap. This cap can detect fluctuations in brain activity that as fast as millisecond –long. These fluctuations can happen when a user looks at the screen which coincides in the target destination.

When the user scans the map, they can see flashes of blue spotted in sequence for each possible destination. When the flash occurred to the point where the user is looking at, it triggers the fluctuation in their brain activity and it is detected by the electrodes. When the sequence of flashes in the user’s brain activity coincides with the fluctuation, the computer will interpret it as the location where the user wants to go.
