Memphis Mayor Herenton Resigns; USDOJ Response to Neals Is Due

Thank you, Spydermonkey.  I will keep reporting.  I honestly feel that if it were not for citizens media, I might not be here to report.  I was in some very threatening situations in 2008 before become a self-imposed prisoner.  But when police won't come when you call 911 and you are followed and waylaid in your neighborhood businesses, it is time to either hire bodyguards or stay home. 

Someone asked me once if my family had contacted the various civil rights organizations about the atrocity of Larry's death and The Cochran Firm Fraud.  It may matter that Ben Hooks, who is a past president of the NAACP, had a nephew on the Shelby County Commission when Larry was secretly arrested until death.  I believe Hooks has a great-nephew on the Commission now.  One is in prison and the other one just got out.  I think they were connected with the Tennessee Waltz scandal described at this Wikipedia link:

Another drawback is that many African Americans still think of The Cochran Firm as being Johnnie's firm, although he has been dead for years.  Johnnie Cochran partnered with an Alabama firm before death that likely supplied the financing for the firm's huge growth.  Before the OJ Simpson case, Johnnie Cochran had only one office in LA.  In case you wonder, I thought until my dealings with this law firm that O.J. Simpson's glove did not fit.  I always think folks are innocent, right?

I had several attorneys tell me that our case was so political that representing the Neals might negatively impact an attorney's future career choices if they decided to run for office some day.  Another lawyer said he did not think he could win a case that was so skewed that intervention by Georgia's Attorney General was required to force the GA Bar to just send us a complaint form.  Several law firms said that with the list of folks who did us wrong, it would be hard for attorneys practicing in this region to have no conflict of interest.  It is like our family has been gang raped.  That is how I wound up handling the lawsuits pro se. 

I had no idea what the attorneys meant until former attorney general Gonzales was indicted in Texas last November for taking kickbacks not to investigate inmate abuses in county jails.  I knew nothing about prison profiteering or even that mental patients were in prison instead of treatment nowadays.  We thought Larry was incarcerated because he fell through the safety net for acute mental patients and had no idea that 1.25 million other mentally ill people had already BROKEN the net, so there is none!  I believe most of my readers did not know that mental patients had become a business commodity in America until reading my research and that the country's TOP higher-ups own private prisons or are heavy investors.  That makes it hard to save mental patients from prison and get DNA tests or new trials for potentially innocent inmates.  Former Texas District Attorney Guerra gives details at his website at the "private prisons" tab:  http://juanangelguerra.com/

My brother surprised me as he drove me home from my television interview on May 14 by congratulating me on winning the case.  I reminded him that Judge Wendy Shoob threw us out of court saying there was no Cochran Firm in Georgia to sue  and that USDC Judge Timothy Batten had said everything The Cochran Firm did to us was "immaterial." 

My brother smiled at me and said, "That's what I mean.  If all they could do in the end was lie, then you won."

I smiled back at him and said, "Who says it ended?"  Fat ladies don't sing for free.

It is pathetic for people to believe it is anything other than PATIENCE that allows them to keep Memphis ignorant of these illegal acts.  Larry has no less than 130 grownup close relatives in Memphis.  I went to high school and college there, and I have always been a friendly person. 

If broadcasting was the main objective, all such censorship would be useless except to add intrigue to the story.  We tell enough folks to hopefully be SAFE FROM SOCIOPATHS while we try to work out a reasonable SETTLEMENT in court that is fair and just for ONCE.

Let me ask you something.  In your office, who keeps all of your records intact?  You, or your legal secretary?  That is what I am, only I am better prepared than your secretary ever was because I keep everything in triplicate and in different places with different people and ask that they do the same - give copies to people they trust.  You should know that from reading my emails at Yahoo.  And I learned from watching my favorite television lawyer shows to never ask a question unless you already have the answer.  Save lies from piling up on your eternal souls and be real.

And as far as knowing the government was involved, WE KNEW THAT THE MORNING AFTER DAVID McLAUGHLIN SENT HIS EMAIL CONFESSING HE HAD DONE NO WORK ON OUR CASE AFTER 10.5 MONTHS OF CONTRACT AND THAT LONG BLACK ON BLACK GOVERNMENT VEHICLE WITH 12 FEET LONG ANTENNAS JUTTING FROM THE HOOD AND TRUNK SAT IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING. 

We just did not know how the government figured in, but anyone who watches television or works with attorneys all day every day knows that no law firm risks its reputation doing something like was done to our family unless it feels like it has someone very powerful watching its back.  We did not know what exactly was going on in those early days, but anyone knows when things are highly unusual.  Attorneys don't usually stop communicating with clients who have a case worth millions. 

The problem with Pharaohs is that they equate humble economic means with stupidity.  Maybe some people are poorer than you because they are honest and their ancesters never owned slaves or got free land grants from the government.  Ever thought about that?

Or if what Shawn Holley said is true, maybe you think African American = stupid.  That may be what is meant by all of the "law firm for the common man" language that is in the early firm brochures.  Perhaps "common" translates "black and stupid."

I don't believe I ever worked with any law firm that would do something like this, period!  And then compound the offense with all of this STUFF that followed.  So who is stupid now?

Do you want to know what belongs on a television show for dumb criminals?  (Did you ever see that show?  They really had it on air.)  It was Cochran Firm attorney Angela Mason writing to USDC Judge Batten and telling him the COLOR of the vehicle that followed me most often even though I never told anyone the color.  Suppose Judge Batten had gotten sick and was not the judge hearing the case when that pleading was read?  Would all the judges have ignored that ADMISSION?

I am being real with you people because I figure stalking me in four vehicles and a USDOT truck means that you are already as teed off as possible.  That was a very evil and psychopathic thing to do, whoever did it.

NOW, UNLESS Y'ALL ARE READY TO GET THIS NEW WORLD ORDER ON THE ROAD AND PUT YOUR TRAINS WITH SHACKLES IN USE, YOU NEED TO START BEING MORE IN LINE WITH THE CONSTITUTION AND U.S. CODE, BECAUSE THE THINGS YOU ARE DOING ARE ILLEGAL, AND EVEN CATCHING ME AT THE CHEVRON WON'T IMPROVE YOUR OUTLOOK.  THAT HAS BEEN ADDRESSED ALREADY.

Do yourself a favor if you ever go into the restaurant business.  If a customer reports to you that there is a fly in her tea - just pay for her dinner and send her away happy.  You stand there arguing and trying to save $1.50 by not replacing her tea, and all your other customers will hear the dispute.  Pretty soon, YOU HAVE AN EMPTY RESTAURANT and you get to drink all your own contaminated tea - alone.

I am praying for God to bless y'all with some REASONING SKILLS.  Jurisprudence did not help you with that, obviously.

I was going to wait and see if the Obama admn. planned to also help the Bush USDOJ cover-up Larry's murder in Shelby Co. Jail as The Cochran Firm and certain authorities seem intent on doing.  But then today, I read that Herenton may be resigning as mayor in order to run for CONGRESS!!!  I believe we have enough corrupt politicians in Congress.  We have Hastings there already with his H.R. 645.  We don't need a Congressman Herenton.  He can forget it.  Anyone who hides a murder is an accessory after the fact.  He needs to retire and go mountain-climbing as he said he would do.

These people need to recognize that Larry's death will be fully revealed.  Mainstream media can try to hide it, but it will not work.  It has not worked as well as they hoped, and it is up to Larry's family, and not the censorship force, when Larry's death gets full revelation. 

In the meanwhile, tell Herenton to forget Congress.  It won't happen.

This is the type of censorship that happens to protect the corrupt politicians in Memphis and those who were in Washington who helped them cover up Larry's death. Try posting the comment yourself and you will see.

Folks who help cover up a murder are accessories after the fact. They are also guilty of the murder if they help to hide it. Not only do they need to resign, they should be sent to prison.

These people who work so hard to censor news of Larry's death know that I am posting it on the Internet, and they know that it gets out to a limited degree anyway.

That is why they planned to kill me, also.

The judges kept our civil cases from going forward in court. Judge Shoob said there was no such thing as a GA office of The Cochran Firm

Judge Batten of USDC said everything The Cochran Firm did to prevent our lawsuit against Shelby Co. Jail was "immaterial."

Meanwhile, The Cochran Firm did not file any pleadings in the USDC case. during the entire six-month discovery period.  Then when I started staying home, they filed a flood of pleadings. 

Maybe they thought initially it would not be necessary to participate in the court process. I was being stalked everywhere I went. Finally, I was waylayed at the Chevron station and called 911, and they likely arranged for the police to ignore me. No police came when all those men surrounded me.

When I wrote about being followed everywhere I went, I had affidavits from others who witnessed it (I only go to very public places, because I know they are dangerous). Cochran Firm attorney Angela Mason wrote a pleading in USDC and said that law firm did not have a Caucasian man in a WHITE van hired to follow me.

I never told anyone the COLOR of the vehicle. How did she know? Do they teach ESP in law schools?

I wrote a pleading telling the Court that I never gave anyone the color of the vehicle, and there was only one way for that lawyer to know. Judge Batten ignored it.

The authorities work together to suppress news of Larry's murder to protect the Bush USDOJ. That is also who The Cochran Firm was protecting when it took our case in order to let the time pass and do nothing  They still hope to suppress this news. That means to me that they still hope to get rid of my mom and me and any of our family that rises up and tells about Larry Neal's murder in Memphis Shelby Co. Jail.

It is time to end their hopes of quiet containment.  

In case these Memphis politicians did not notice, the people  they trusted to protect them from exposure for the Secret Arrest and Wrongful Death of Larry Neal cannot even protect themselves from bad publicity.  Eventually, they will run out of judges to protect them from lawsuits, also.   Not that the judges in Neals v. The Cochran Firm case did that on purpose, you understand.  They were apparently just extra-gullible judges who were  unaware of how some lawyers lie like hell.  

The Georgia judges we got probably never turned on a television with all those commercials advertising The Cochran Firm in Atlanta.  I was thinking somebody else was paying for the commercials to get that little Atlanta law firm in trouble, or something.  Really, it was quite shocking for Judge Shoob to dismiss our case saying the Cochran Firm had no Georgia office.  I thought -- what?  Someone must be playing a terrible and expensive game on those lawyers at 127 Peachtee St to buy commercials and say the firm is The Cochran Firm.

Wonder why Judge Batten allowed Cox Enterprises, Inc. to IGNORE OUR FEDERAL SUBPOENA FOR THOSE ADVERTISING RECORDS? 

I wanted to find out who was telling that lie on that firm in Atl. that claimed it was not a Cochran Firm office.  Somebody would have had to be spending lots of money to do such a thing.  But never mind now.  That law firm stopped telling that lie, and a week after Judge Batten dismissed our USDC case, The Cochran Firm did its own YouTube commercial for the Atlanta office.  You saw it, didn't you?

QUESTION:  DO YOU THINK THE MEDIA CENSORS THIS NEWS BECAUSE THEY MAKE SO MUCH MONEY ON THOSE COCHRAN FIRM COMMERCIALS, OR DO YOU THINK THEY CESNOR LARRY'S DEATH OUT OF MAINSTREAM NEWS BECAUSE THE NEWSPAPER OWNERS ARE ALSO IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER?  Which explanation should I use in the book, since we really don't know?

I sure hope they are not getting ready to crank out trains with shackles and widespread disease or have buided x-ray beams capable of shooting heart-stopping rays at folks, like Michael Jackson's conspiracy theory says.  Because if the NWO has all of that, I need to do like Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus and go into exile.

IN FACT, IF YOU LOOK IT UP ON THE TENNESSEE SECRETARY OF STATE'S LIST OF TENNESSEE CORPORATIONS, IT IS/WAS REGISTERED AS AN "ASSUMED NAME."   I never saw anything like that before in my 15 years of doing searches of corporations with different Secretaries of State for different states.  I won't be surprised if that law firm really does turn out to be a HS agency - designed to keep up with blacks and Latinos.

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING REALLY STRANGE, THE COCHRAN FIRM WAS NOT REGISTERED IN GEORGIA AT ALL UNDER ANY NAME WHATSOEVER!  I always write about how that name the Atlanta office used in GA Sup. Ct. was not registered in Georgia - "Cochran Cherry Givens Smith & Sistrunk, P.C."  You can't be a P.C. without state registration, you know, but the GA Bar didn't have a problem with it!   If you are unemployed in Georgia, why not add "M.D." after your name and start treating patients tomorrow?

THAT LAW FIRM WAS ALSO NOT LISTED WITH THE GEORGIA SEC. OF STATE'S OFFICE EVEN AS "THE COCHRAN FIRM."  NO LISTING!  DA, DUM!!!  Wonder how they pay their taxes -- or if they have to pay any?

I checked at the Secretary of State's office, courthouse for a D/B/A, and I checked with the City of Atlanta -- no registration!  Yes, I have the certificate saying so. 

MUSIC, DRUM ROLL! 

WHO IS THAT MASKED FIRM?  Maybe that is why a USDOT truck was with the folks following me.  I may have uncovered a big secret - like folks in movies who stumble onto a big spy secret because they pick up the wrong suitcase at the airport.

ON TOP OF THAT, GUESS WHAT? WHILE THE COCHRAN FIRM WAS IN USDC  SAYING THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS A COCHRAN FIRM IN MEMPHIS, THEY HAD TO REIMBURSE MY MOM AND ME FOR SOMETHING BY COURT ORDER.  THE CHECK THE FIRM SENT US WAS DRAWN AGAINST THE ACCOUNT OF "THE COCHRAN FIRM - MEMPHIS OFFICE."

SOME FOLKS JUST AREN'T GOOD AT PERJURY.  CRIMINALS NEED TO BE ATTENTIVE TO DETAILS.

. . . not that it mattered much to Judge Timothy Batten, of USDC, Northern District of Georgia.  No matter how many times perjury was proved in our case, no matter that Angela Mason admitted to knowing the color of the van that followed me most often in violation of U.S. Code 18, 242 and 245, Judge Batten ruled it was all "immaterial."

In fact, he ruled that everything The Cochran Firm did to trick my mom and me while the statute of limitations was running out on our case was "immaterial" to prevent our going to a jury trial.  

I don't think it is only because Mr. Bush appointed Judge Batten to federal court, but some folks in my family think that.  Remember that the folks in Texas had trouble getting abuses in county jails investigated under the Bush Admin. USDOJ, too.  It was so bad there in Willacy Co. that the grand jury indicted Gonzales for prison profiteering - taking kickbacks to withhold USDOJ investigations.  Inmates  in Texas suffered. After the indictment, there was a prison uprising and that resulted in injuries and deaths.

Do the blatant lies in Neals v. The Cochran Firm remind you of anyone?  I am more convinced than ever that all of the censorship was used to stall until folks could catch me out of the house - as though Larry does not have 130 other close relatives and about 100,000 others who know about his Guantanamo-style secret arrest and death in Shelby County Jail in Memphis in '03.  Better watch behind you.  Now YOU know, too.

I THINK IT IS SHAMEFUL THE WAY THE COCHRAN FIRM TRICKED JUDGE SHOOB AND JUDGE BATTEN INTO THINKING THEY DID NOT HAVE A GEORGIA OFFICE.  MOST CHILDREN I TALKED TO ARGUED THAT THEY DID, BECAUSE KIDS LOOK AT SO MUCH TV AND THEIR COMMERCIALS WERE ON EVERY FIVE MINUTES TELLING FOLKS TO COME TO THE ATLANTA OFFICE OF THE COCHRAN FIRM.  BUT I SUPPOSE JUDGES DON'T GET TO LOOK AT MUCH TELEVISION.

ALL THE LAWYERS AND JUDGES I WORKED WITH GO TO FUNCTIONS TOGETHER AND HAVE BALL TEAMS - BUT I GUESS IT WAS MY BAD LUCK THAT I GOT TWO JUDGES WHO DON'T MINGLE.

AND I SUPPOSE THE SAME THING IS TRUE OF THAT LAW FIRM THAT DEFENDED THE COCHRAN FIRM AGAINST OUR LAWSUIT - CARLOCK, COPELAND, SEMLAR, & STAIR, LLP.  THEY MUST NOT GO TO BALL GAMES EITHER. 

HOPEFULLY, CARLOCK COPELAND WOULD NOT DELIBERATELY PUT FORTH A LIE IN GEORGIA SUPERIOR COURT AND TURN AROUND AND PUT FORTH MORE LIES IN FEDERAL COURT.  Some regular working people who go to court would be incarcerated and/or fined for committing perjury in court.  Good thing the lawyers are what you call "upper crust."  The elite in America have special privilege and are very seldom held accountable for lawbreaking.

If The Cochran Firm is a federal agent, I suppose other lawyers knew it already.  That is probably why we had to go pro se  on a breach of contract case I thought was open and shut.  Of course, although my mom and I paid USDC $350 to file a breach of contract case, The Cochran Firm and the court stopped calling it that last winter and started calling it a malpractice case, knowing that GA is a state that requires a lawyer's affidavit to file a malpractice lawsuit.  The Cocharn Firm certainly did all three, and all three were proved, but I want my $350 back.  Courts should not accept plaintiffs' money and then ignore [change] what they filed for and allow defendants to commit known perjury.

LET ME ASK YOU ONE OTHER QUESTION -- HAVE YOU GOT GOOD TIRES ON YOUR CAR AND GOOD TRACK SHOES?  NOW THAT YOU READ THIS, YOU MIGHT NEED BOTH -- UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE TRAPPED AT HOME FOR KNOWING THESE THINGS LIKE MY 86-YEAR-OLD MOM AND I DO - AND HAVE CYBERSTALKERS FLASH PICTURES OF COFFINS ACROSS YOUR SCREEN AND CENSOR WHAT YOU WRITE ONLINE.  THAT'S THE PRICE OF HAVING AN INQUIRING MIND.

I never thought this cover-up could last this long and through so many people, organizations, and government agencies being made aware of it.  I thought folks would apologize and repent and pay their damages.  If you had this much to hide, you would have done that, wouldn't you? 

Sometimes I worry because the authorities don't seem to care about being discovered violating citizens' Constitutional rights or U.S. Code and state laws.  It seems that they think those laws don't matter - or won't be in effect for much longer.  That's why reading about Congressman Hastings putting forward a bill - H.R. 645 - for concentration camps in America alarmed me.  I wrote about the bill at this link:

We will know this week about the Obama USDOJ, won't we?  I am hopeful but not convinced that things have Changed.  When I called police about the cyberthreats to kidnap my family members, police promised to call me back and give me a report number, and they did not do that.  So we thought it was time to take advantage of President Obama's open disclosure laws improving government transparency and limiting the time government agencies have to respond to FIOA requests.  "Transparency in government" is a slogan connected with Obama's administration, yet the Neals' response to our FIOA is now overdue.  Furthermore, I got no response to my phone calls to the USDOJ in February and March.  The federal agency that can trace cyberterrorism did not respond to my request for assistance, either. 

Our May 7 FIOA request asked the DOJ why in the world the agency had federal hearings to release Shelby County Jail from overview and allowed the jail to again omit reporting about Larry's secret death although the DOJ and I had corresponded about what happened to Larry in that "jail from hell" (a news reporter's description, and the reason the jail was investigated and sued by the USA, then placed under USDOJ overview). 

The USDOJ wrote me back on May 28 saying my requests for records were referred to the two departments that have the records on jails the USA sued - the USDOJ Attorneys office and the Bureau of Prisons - and that they had 20 business days to respond.  Well now what do you think happened after that?  The USDOJ Attorneys office wrote me and asked where I think the DOJ attorneys should look for their own Memphis Shelby County Jail records!  I thought, "Oh oh.  What is up with these folks?" 

DOJ attorneys certainly know where the Memphis Shelby County Jail is located - the Western District of Tennessee.  And they undoubtedly know where to look for their own records of federal lawsuits against jails.  What kind of new game is this that the Obama  and Holder DOJ is playing?

It was a little discomforting for me to read that President Obama may be vacationing in Martha's Vineyard this summer and staying in the home of the Assistant Attorney General under the Bush administration.  Aren't some of those lawyers under that DOJ in trouble over treating the Guantanamo detainees the same way Shelby County Jail treated Larry - secretly arresting them and torturing or killing them?  Dozens of the detainees are still missing.  At least they gave us Larry's body to bury when they were done with him.

Although the DOJ lawyers in Washington pretend not to know where to look for their own Memphis, TN records, the Bureau of Prisons did not write such a silly letter to me. Therefore, we look forward to finally getting some answers, according to the DOJ's own timeline, about Washington's part in the cover-up regarding the secret arrest and wrongful death of Larry Neal, an American with disabilities who should have been protected, not murdered by our authorities. 

I am sad to report that so far, our government has acted very Chinese about the wrongful death of Larry Neal.  "Missing" citizens coming up dead in government custody without explanation used to be something that did not happen in America.  Even in the 40's when they lynched black men, they would hang them in plain view so their families knew what happened to them. Those were the good old days.

There was a time when Americans were not followed and waylaid by goverment vehicles like I was on Sept. 27, 2008, when my family had to save me at the Chevron station from four cars of men and a US DOT truck and DeKalb County police did not come help my six-year-old grandson and me. Now I suppose you realize why I always say we have a very criminal "justice" system.  This is also why I am concerned for the 2.3 million Americans who are incarcerated in these people's hands behind prison walls - especially sick citizens like my brother Larry was.  In my experience, the sociopaths were or are in charge, and inmates who are locked up for being mentally ill probably have more sense and a lot more decency. 

We have two petitions for an investigation regarding Larry's death with over 800 signatures.  It is absurd to have to petition a government agency to do exactly what it is paid to do - protect the rights of institutionalized persons and the rights of Americans with disabilities.  It may be necessary to offer a reward for information on Larry.  Perhaps someone incarcerated when he was or a jail employee can be induced to give information about him - maybe even the DOJ officials might be moved to perform their job responsibilities.  Although Michael Vick's dogs did not pay for justice, Vick wound up broke, so there was definitely a transfer of wealth.

NowPublic, please check your security.  Cyberstalkers are preventing my comment.  The folks should have paid their damages instead of hiring all of these computer techs.  We'll have to give them another chance. 

America will celebrate Independence Day this week.  I think it is time to qualify that "ALL" at the end of the Pledge of Allegiance, and the "WE" in the Cnonstitution.  Obviously, those terms do not apply to black families or to mentally handicapped Americans, who are in prison by the hundreds of thousands for being sick.  Maybe the terms refer only to Michael Vick's pit bullls and the country's healthy, white citizens.  Their deaths are reported and investigated.

The week when the USDOJ response to our FIOA ends tomorrow.  They are overdue.  Mind you, this is the DOJ that is a part of the administration that has "equal justice" and "open disclosure" as campaign commitments and notable buzz words.  What's up?  Meaning no disrespect, I'll tell you something my Grandma always said:  It's time to pee or get off the pot.  The DOJ cannot protect criminals, even if they are supporters, best friends, or lovers.  To be in charge of law and order and fail to uphold the law is a WMD to your administration.  The lawlessness of the previous administration needs to be dealt with in open disclosure and equal justice applied.  There is disappointment that this is apparently not being done on several fronts.

I recognize that my family did not donate $50,000 to the inaugural party like The Cochran Firm did, but don't hold it against us.  Perhaps if we had judges who recognized a law office just blocks from their courthouses, we could have.
