Mercy corps launches healthy school program in Aceh

The program was aimed at improving the health of school children through various steps which could reduce the anemia rate, he said.

The program in Aceh would copy success stories of similar programs conducted in West Sumatra, Riau, Bengkulu and Lampung Provinces, he said.

The program would among other things focus on fighting anemia which could decrease children`s learning and motoric ability, he said.
