I have a bottle of the Miralax 4110082071. It appears that it is recalled due to the lid not fitting properly. There is nothing wrong with the cap on this and it has been in my house since the seal was broken so I see no reason for the recall if that is the only reason. I also have 2 of the Miralax 4110080650. I received a phone message from Sam's Club today informing me of a recall on this number. Why has the recall been issued on that? Also has another supply been issued that is okay?

I called and talked to the , Schering-Plough HealthCare Products Customer Care today regarding the Sam's call and here is what I was told.  It is being recalled because the bottom of the cap is discolored brownish and that is the only reason.  He told me the product was safe and that no resupply information is in the pipeline as yet and has no idea when it will.  He reiterated that to return it to Sam's for a full refund, however, he didn't know the nature of the call that Sam's initiated.  I also have the 00041100806505 product one that is in use and a new twin pack and when I take off the cap I see the discoloration in the bottom of the measuring lid.  I don't know how much faith to hold in his statement the product is safe but if it is truly the discoloration of the cap then measuring the correct amout with a table spoon should be as he suggested a viable alternative.  The phone number to get this information is as follows: 800-842-4090 I hope this is helpful as the Sam's call said to stop using it immediately that I received. Just want to know if the cap on btl is the only reason for sure re recall I have purchased to sets for travel one for home and the other one for work location. I have enough problems to be concerned about so I don't need the extra trouble.  Do I need to return it .   The #s I have do not correspond with the recall #s

If the numbers do not correspond then there should be no cause for concern and you won't have to return those.

I just recieved this news too, it seems odd to me why the cap being the issue would have anything to do w/ the consumption of it. So I find it a bit disconcerning. Obviously we have enough medical issues w/out this to upset us. I hope that's all it really is.

Hey people - If the company feels the need for recalling a product for a safety concern - no matter what it is, you should be grateful instead of complaining.  In today's world we all have enough to worry about without adding more.  It is YOUR choice if you want to return it or not but don't complain if you get sick using a product that has been recalled.

Thank God someone has some sense!!! My daughter was born 3 months premature and LIVES on Miralax. If the product is being recalled either take it back or suck it up if something goes wrong!!!. Do you people not care about yourself or your loved ones if they are the ones NEEDING this medicine.

I also have a bottle of Miralax with one of the codes and my cap is just fine but I had noticed for the past couple of weeks it was not on the shelves - today I went to Walgreen's because it was suppose to be on sale and there was a notice saying it was recalled (I thought there was something wrong with the product) so I ended buying the Walgreen's brand.
