Money, money, money
Have you ever heard someone say all you need is love? Well whoever made up that saying or whatever dream world they lived in is just a dream world. The fact is you need more than love to survive in today’s world economy, you need money.
Money can be a blessing or a curse to a person depending on how a person uses the money they earn.
Money can cause problems between married couples and may cause them to have to seek marriage counseling.
Money causes some people problems because all they won’t to do is steel or kill for money instead of work for it.
Many family members have alienated themselves from other family members over money issues due to favoritism, death of a family member, or a member of the family using money as an affluence, achievement, status, or for power.
Money can cause people to have a false sense of security about themselves.
Money can cause pride, deceitfulness, and become a god to consume those who allow money to make them servants of money. We need to make sure money is serving us and we are not serving it.
Churches, missionaries and charity’s need money to take care of basic weekly expenses. Your quality of life, shelter, education, medical care, transportation, communication, and health all revolves around the amount of money or income you have to work with every month.
As written in 1 Timothy 6:10 and quoted many times when money is talked about because some people believe money is evil. For the love of money is the root of all evil as 1 Timothy 6:10 states that money is the root of all evil but it doesn’t state that money is evil.
Money is not evil but it is the obsession of money that makes money evil. Money will not cure all your problems or guarantee your happiness.
Money will not cure the emptiness of the soul, the loneliness of isolation, or the need for the presence of God in your life.
