At this time of the year, the place is overrun with bugs here. It is so hot and humid, and the bugs just love it.
This looks like a mosquito, but doesn't bite. Not sure exactly what it is called, but it must be in the same family.
I have just cropped some top off the shot, but otherwise is full frame, so probably about 35-30mm across.
