The Most Profound Truths of Our Existence

Before we consider those truths, there is something I keep forgetting to mention.. Rest assured, God takes care of the caring .. Why should we remember this? Because the caring are part of God's family. If you care, really care, you're part of God's family. God never neglects one of Her own..

The most profound fact of our existence: the Holy Spirt is at your disposal .. Does this mean you can subjugate, exploit, or dominate using the Holy Spirit? No. As soon as your humility turns to arrogance, you lose the Holy Spirit. As soon as you try to dominate/exploit/subjugate others, you lose the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can never be used to hurt.

The second most profound fact of our existence: God is a game changer .. This is rarely appreciated and rarely fully understood .. A few months ago, I was 'at war' with Satan. Now, I'm at peace with him. Why? Because God changed the rules of the game .. A few months ago, it was: who can dominate the planet. Satan or God? Now, it's about who can love the most.. The moment you think you get the 'rules' of the game, God changes them.

Why? Is it to play with us? To play games with our minds? No .. God is about Growth. Don't let this 'fool' you into thinking you can 'guess' God's path/plan for you. It's too easy for us to ASSume we 'know' God's plan for us .. Remember, frequently, there's at least 134 years of wisdom in these words: many-times, I speak from both my mother's and my perspective: the first significant word in assume is ass. “We [frequently] make an ass of ourselves when we assume.” is my mother's quote and she has the humility to say this about herself!

'Finally', God is about love: love transforms lives. I'm continually shocked into awareness about my personal life.. I simply would not be here if it was not for the true love in my life. I would have lost hope, I would have lost faith in myself, and I would have killed myself in despair.. When you're open to God / the Holy Spirit, it transforms your life, it Empowers you, it invigorates you, it Inspires you,..

Think of God this way: you're tired – you desperately need a vacation – God is that vacation. You're sleepy and need a decent solid night's rest – God is that reenergizing sleep. You're lonely, you need love, you seek out an illicit affair to stimulate you back into wanting to live again; God is that illicit affair.. Now of course, many people will 'ream me' about that last one.. It sounds unholy. But listen to my exact words: it sounds unholy. Did I tell you to have an illicit affair? NO. I only implied you to have an affair with God!

Of course, if you decide you want to have an illicit affair, that's your business and theirs.. Love is never wrong. At the same time, realize there are always consequences for your thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. That sentence is worth reading a second time..

So life is indeed a 'cautionary tale' .. We cannot ASSume we know God's plan for us, we cannot ASSume evil/selfish motives about 'strangers' (this can get us into HUGE trouble), we cannot continue on this path of mistrust and expect to survive/thrive. We, collectively, MUST open our hearts and lives to the transforming/healing power of the Holy Spirit in order to heal our broken civilization. We MUST be willing to forgive each other in order to make any real progress.

I've made some tragic mistakes in my life – we all do. I beg you: please forgive me. At the same time: I forgive you .. Take that one step further: we must forgive God for all we blame Her. She unequivocally forgives you.
