Advancement in medical procedures has a risk in the life of some people.

The experiment was made to see if a nanoparticle can damage the DNA of cells at a certain distance even when the cells are placed behind an impassable barrier of tissue. The said tissue barrier was about four cells deep, and is made from a “BeWo” human cancer cell. It is unique compared to other cell type found in the body as it become a standard cell line and this type of cell is very fit to work for laboratories.
