The emergency management offices in Floyd County have ordered a New Albany government building to shut down Thursday afternoon due to black mold.
Employees were sent home or re-located after the discovery.
The building houses probation officers and does electronic monitoring of those on home incarceration
Steve Bush, the head of the Floyd County Council, made the call to close down and send employees home.
People who were supposed to report to their probation officers Thursday or Friday are being asked to return Monday, when the building is due to reopen.
