New Drug Targets Cancer Stem Cells

They come up with this discovery when they used a new method of screening for drugs that aims to target and kill cancer stem cells. This method can be used to find drugs that will detect and other cancer stem cells other that breast cancer cells. There are attempts in the past; hoping to cure cancer fast and none of them succeed in doing so not until today. The problem lies as in how to trigger cancer stem cells as they are rare and difficult to study at, mutating into other types of cells making them hard to kill.
