Nine new dengue fever cases confirmed in Pakistan's cultural capital

As the prolonged dry spell has led to rise in infections related with such climate, nine new cases of Dengue fever have been confirmed in Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan.

Punjab Health Department said that following the new Dengue cases coming to the fore in the city, the number of Dengue patients has shot up to 292, while in Punjab soared to 326.
In the backdrop of fast rising Dengue cases, Punjab chief minister has asked for a report from the health department, while the doctors have advised the citizens taking preventive measures from Dengue.
