NP Rank:
No need to let fat kill you

This is not a hokey health care endorsement. This is a true testimonial.
After years of living in Northern California, I let the good life creep up on me. The food, wine, and partying seemed to never end. I exercised daily, but the calorie burn rate wasn’t keeping pace with the intake. Before I left California to move back east, I saw a doctor because I wasn’t feeling just right.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure – just high enough to demand attention, no medication prescribed, just change your diet. Sure, I said, and then made the move.
I came into a high pressure job situation and worked seven days a week and many long hours. I did that for several years, and it involved lots of dining with clients. The food was excellent and I was raised by the adage, “Eat everything on your plate.”
Well, that is wrong. You should only eat the amount of food necessary to achieve your desired weight. If you are overweight, eat less.
That is easy to say and harder to do. I kept going to Five Guys several days a week with my client. We had burgers and fries that we could not resist. Next thing you know, I was having times when I thought I might black out.
I went to the doctor and the diagnosis was that hypertension was bad and my weight was terrible. Hypertension led to other health problems and achieving good health would require surgery and lots of medication, and years of therapeutic recovery.
Even after all of that, I had a hard time staying in bounds and eating properly until I read Flatbelly.
I followed the diet plan and advice and found it easy to comply. I continued my exercise with constant improvement over a year. It takes time to get better, but Flatbelly changed and improved my diet and weight loss immediately within a week or two.
It’s all about MUFA’s
“What are MUFAs?
MUFAs (pronounced moo-fah) are monounsaturated fatty acids, plant-based fats found in some of the world's most delicious foods--avocado, nuts and seeds, oils, olives, and dark chocolate! Studies show that these good-for-you fats enhance heart health and protect against chronic disease. And now the latest research shows that these dietary superstars may even target fat where it's hardest to lose--in your belly!”

That's the idea. Kill off all wheat products and become gluten free.
