Obesity Police; Too Fat, Sorry, You Can't Graduate

With the behavioral modification control freaks walking around handing out orders left and right, taking little by little individual freedoms, one has to wonder how long will it take for the American people to wake up and realize by allowing crazed, fascist, liberty killing individuals and organizations to continue, will eventually lead those same anti-American control freaks into ones own back yard.

I just read an article by CNN on how in Pennsylvania at Lincoln University, if you have a BMI (body mass index) of 30 or above, (and to weed out healthy students who have a high BMI, students waists are measured) students are being mandated to take a fitness cource and if assigned to the student and not "completed" then the student will not be allowed to graduate. 

And as usual there are always the ones that apparently have no idea of what individual freedom is, standing around running their jaws sayin how great it is to take yet another choice from Americans with out taking 3 seconds to think that maybe, maybe, one day these same control freaks will take something they chose to do. 

"Being in this day and age where people are becoming overweight and need more fitness, I think it's a great idea to earn extra credit, an easy extra credit," said Brittnai Panton, a 19-year-old freshman from Decatur, Georgia. Oh and by the way she tested out of the cource.

What about how the New England Journal of Medicine arguing  to raise taxes on such things as soft drinks, energy drinks, sports beverages and many juices and iced teas "to fight obesity and provide billions for health care reform?" The argument is, well.... it worked for "curbing" smoking so the same should be implimented to "curb" obese Americans eating/ drinking habits and or behaviour.   Reports New York Times

 See, the control freaks are using the same tactics as what was used against smokers, now, against obese people. The question is what/ who will these control freaks go after next and will it be after the very ones sitting back right now singing the praises of these anti-americans actions by saying such things as "I'm glad their going after those fat people, I'm tired of looking at them waddle while they walk," while sippin on a beer or glass of wine? Will alcohol be next? Will they be going after YOU who is sitting there drinking a beer?

The point and or principle I'm trying to make is to allow ANYONE to take away ANYONES choice, is to in all reality allow the same control freaks to take away YOUR choices.
