Oral Roberts has influenced postively millions and i am certainly one of many who proudly state that he may be the most influencial man in my life that i have ever met. his upbeat view of the Bible and the view that God is a good God interested in each life is a remarkable acheivement in that the mystery of ages once known only to a few has been revealed to many. I like others will miss him and will continue to pray for him and his dear family. Eternal Light grant him rest and peace and may the perputaal light shine him always.

I attended Oral Roberts University back in the 80's.  It was a priviledge and an honor to be at one of the best Universities in the world.  His life and ministry made a great impact on my life.  I will not trade those years for anything in the world.  My you enjoy your wife now and the Lord Jesus Christ Oral Roberts.  I will miss you here on this earth but I'm looking forward to seeing you again one day in Glory.  Peace.

He lived a long life, accomplished more than most people would in 2 lifetimes. Sad his son is not made of the same stock.

A general in the faith a true man of God. God bless the family and stay strong in the lord and in the power of his might he will be missed.

I have watched Oral over the years and see even as he aged that he continued the fight of faith till the end. Heaven is rejoicing as this work horse coming home enters the gates of the home he so sweetly preached of is before him. May his family be blessed and strengthened in this time of not sorrow but rejoicing for we shall all see the King of Kings someday and I am sure Oral will be giving the guided tours.

This is a time of great loss. Truly a general in the Army of God has went home. It saddens me, but on the other hand, Brother Roberts is now reunited with his wife, Brother Hagin, Dr. Sumerall and all the other saints that have went on. They are rooting for us to carry on the message of faith and healing to our Generation. That was their assignment, as well as ours. Thanks Brother Roberts for the legacy you left for the body of Christ. You will be missed, but you will always be remembered and appreciated.

Sad to learn of Bro Oral Roberts passing, however, we are not without hope as those who do not believe. The Word of God is abundantly clear - "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". We do thank the Lord for his impactful ministry over many years and the result of his labours is that countless numbers have found the Lord Jesus as personal Saviour and a great many have received healing for their bodies because of his faithfilled prayers. Oh that there would be more of us who have the courage and boldness to proclaim the truths of God's Word as he did.What is sad, is how the Media portray this man as a wanton individual - focussing on finances, but fail to give credit where it is due. In spite of their endeavours and efforts to discredit a servant of God, yes. it will be true he would have had faults and made mistakes as each one of us do. To the News Media, "please be a little more complimentary of this man's life's work"To his family, may God grant you comfort and peace in your hour of bereavement.God bless!.   

i just found out this afternoon that President Oral Roberts had gone to heaven. I attended ORU many years ago. Oral Roberts and the university were my training ground because i was just born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. i was trained in outreach ministry, and "to go into every man's world". i have honored President Roberts' proclamation, and branched out into my community to serve other in various capacities. it is most difficult to deal with sorrow of parent and grandparent. i pray sincerely for your family/friends, university, and all who admired and respected "One of the Giants of the Faith". it was also ironic that i began to walk when my parents were going to an Oral Roberts service while i remained with my grandparents. i will never forget all i was taught to minister and learn Bible Study. finally, ORU sponsored Spruce-UP with alumni and families who spent a free week in the summer to paint, simple repairs, and catch up or meet new friends. The stay was free and the children were in Victory Christian VBS during the day, and other activities at nite. The entire trip was a blast. What other university - Christian or secular - would provide such a great summer vacation or missions.  Peace be unto you each and every one. God Bless and Keep You! My first two physical miracles where at Oral Roberts University while attending my first two months on campus in 1987. I was raised up from my death bed after given a scripture of Ex 15:26 and a dream from God. The next month I had a brain tumor and the Lord Jesus healed me again at the "City of Faith" hospital after prayer. God is pouring out His Holy Spirit on us after Oral went home to be with him to honor his life's work and to tell us how much He loves Oral and wants us to know how much the Holy Spirit loves us and wants to continue blessing people with His healing power. I will greatly miss his loving spirit.

The Holy Ghost came upon me when I sighted Dr Oral Roberts coming to the altar at ORU Mabee Center, Oklahoma in the year 2004. Oral was truly a great man of God and there is no doubt that he is right now at the bosom of Abraham receiving his rewards for his miraclous works God had used him to do here on earth. He and his works of the gospel live on. Halleluyah!!! Ameh!

Dr. Oral Roberts was true man of faith, and gave us this legacy to continue expanding the gospel in our cities.  Thank Ha Shem for people like him. He will be missed greatly.  

My beloved Mom used to watch Oral Roberts as I was growing up.    I remember those tent meetings vividly.    What a legacy!      He is now with his Savior!  Also, he is reunited with his wife and others gone before in Christ.  Mom went to Heaven almost four years ago.   I miss her every day especially this time of year with so many memories of Christmas!    God bless Oral Roberts for all those he led to Christ and the lives he touched!  Mother of 3, grandmother of 6, wife, sister and friend.    

In his long lifetime, he drew attention to at least these three things:  Christian work, Oral Roberts University, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. We would do well to take time on Dec. 21 to take part in some way in this memorial.

Where will he be buried?

A greater man of God I do not know of.

I was a church goer, even a warden/usher in church, until I came accoss Dr Oral's book on Seed Faith. This little but great book brought the Bible alive in my life. Since then I have never been the same again. I know he has touched many lives in similar and more powerful ways. I praise the Almighty God for the life of Oral, my great friend, partner and brother in the Lord. Praise be to our Lord, for Oral and what he has accomplished on this earth!

Bro.Oral Roberts was a great man of God who introduced the principle of 'Seed faith'. Its a new revelation God revealed to him. We have supported his ministry for the past 38 years and still support him. His Prayer team at the Prayer Tower are wonderful people. We called them many times to pray in times of crisis. Christendom has lost a great icon but like the great apostle Paul, 'he has run his race and finished his course' and now entered Heaven triaumphantly welcomed by angels into the presence the Saviour whom he so faithfully served for decades. He kept his testimoney flawless. In this century there are only two great men of God, one Billy Graham on the Baptist side and Oral Robers on the Pentecostal side. There will not be another Billy Graham or Oral Roberts. These two are giants in modern church history. May his soul rest in peace. I am sure and possitive, on the day when Bro.Roberts stands before the judgement seat of Christ, he will be greatly rewarded for all his labor for his Master!! Let us pray that God may raise many more giants like him in every continent before the Second coming of Christ!!!

I met my wife and received a first class education at ORU, received inspiration and impartation from Dr. Oral Roberts ministry, and have personally seen the goodness and power of the Lord that Oral Roberts preached. He was an Apostle of Faith and Miracles for more than one generation, and accomplished more for the Kingdom of God than any minister I have read of. His reward is with the Lord, before whom he stands eternally now. May the Lord raise others like Dr. Oral Roberts, who will dare to believe God for the impossible and boldly achieve the unprecedented. May his mantle fall upon those who are willing to "go where His light is dim, and His voice is heard small", even to the uttermost corners of the earth. May his passion and fire for the healing of the nations be kindled in yet another generation, and burn even more purely, more brightly than ever, in Jesus Name. Today we pause to honor and salute a General in the Kingdom of God, a trailblazer, a great Evangelist and witness to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory for lending us such a gift. He is where He always belonged - in God's Presence.

What a legacy Oral left us... an empty hospital, a divorced, disgraced son who outspent his incredible salary.  Another son who overdosed, and a daughter who escaped early via a faulty airplane.  She was the lucky one.  She didn't have to be embarrassed by her Dad's vision of an 800 ft tall Jesus and a Jesus ready to pull the plug on ole Oral if folks didn't send in millions. Did the Roberts sell their mansion at 1313 Roxbury in Beverly Hills (I lived a few blocks away) to help raise the money?  I doubt it.  Newport Beach ain't exactly Gary, Indiana, folks. Wise up, people, send your money to a worthy charity and not con men like these guys!  

I got to know of Dr. Oral Roberts from Trinity Broadcasting Network.I was inspired there and then!He would speak words directly from his heart;man of intergrity he was.God we thank you for all the Labors of Dr. Oral.We thank you Lord for the right timing in his life.May you give us the grace to follow his earthly footsteps .
