With all the talk of Healthcare Reform (passed by the Senate committee) there has been a story lacking in media attention.  There is a second healthcare reform proposal that is in the House of Representatives.  We haven't heard about it, but it is there. Some of the main points included in this proposal are: the ability for healthcare for those with pre-existing conditions, help in affording coverage for low to middle income families, better availability for the retired, leaves care decisions in the hands of doctor/patient relationship, doctor liability reform, provides in home caregivers with financial help, instead of taxing small business (which would cost jobs) would give tax break. These are just a few of the proposal items. Instead of pushing government mandated socialized care, both proposals should have been given to the American public. Americans should be allowed to determine the destiny, this includes the ability to choose the care they receive. To see the full proposal go to Representative Blunt's (R-MO) site.
