NP Rank:
Overdosing on Carbs can be Deadly
If it’s man-made, don’t eat it.
When I was raised in North Central Ohio, my Mother served organic food because most of it was organic. Along came the food processing industry – first packaged cereal people and of course, Wonderbread. Wonderbread was introduced in 1925, a generation before me, though Mother resisted serving it. Only as a last resort would it supplement our running out of homemade bread. That’s when the carbohydrate addiction began.
Then spaghetti and pizza rolled in, followed by all sorts of “chip” products, potato and corn chips.
Desserts were a necessity too. If it wasn’t cakes and pies, it would be Jello – fruit flavored sugar laden gelatin.
On every label you will find “sugar” measured in grams. Of course all white flour products are converted into sugar. The more processed is the flour the faster in converts.
Now, the chemical concoction becomes deadlier – carbs with sugar added.
It is everywhere, even in tomato sauce and catsup.
Of course, another large source of carbs is soda – all of the colas and soft drinks laden with sugar.
Who are the Carb pushers?

These companies are capable of marketing natural products that are organically grown. They are capable of providing products that are not genetically altered. It is up to the American public and government to guide them.
Right now, they have fed multiple generations of Americans, making us overweight and unhealthy, and subsequently driving up healthcare costs.
Breaking the addiction takes intervention. You can wait until you have a heart attack or diabetes, or you can stop it in its tracks. It is easy to get healthy.
1. Don’t eat wheat products.
2. Eat one cup of grain per day – if you start with oats – that’s all you get.
3. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables that are organically grown.
4. Eat protein from natural sources – organic fish and poultry, limit red meat, and supplement with whey protein shakes made with unsweetened whey and organic frozen fruits and organic yogurt.
Do these things and save your life and save the heartache from poor health.

Don't buy it -- 2 glasses of wine a day is too much. Processed orange juice is unhealthy.
