Paul Karason, whose skin turned blue after taking collodial silver to treat a case of stress-related dermatitis, has become a medical-- and talk-show-- celebrity. Ten years ago, Paul Karason wanted to avoid people as much as possible, but these days, while he's still a tinge of blue( a condition called angyria) due to the colloidal silver collected in his skin tissue, he's more willing to engage the public, bot one-on-one and on television.

Colloidal silver is a suspension of silver in a distilled-water base; a "colloid" is an even dispersion of one substance within another. Colloidal silver was used to treat infections before the discovery of penicillin... and was banned by the FDA for its propensity to trn skin blue. This effect is permanent: aul Karason will always have blue skin. While Paul Karason made his own colloidal silver, over time, any version of colloidal silver would have had a similar effect.

“I’m anxious to try green,” Karason joked to TODAY’s Matt Lauer in New York Thursday. “You get a little bored with blue.”

This is a clear case of EXCESSIVE USE!  I'v used colloidal siver for YEARS to stop colds and flu's in their tracks with great success! BUT, I ONLY TAKE IT when symptoms of illness appears!   Eat enough carrots and you will also turn colors!   Common sense is the keynote!

It's important for people to remember that taking any substance in excess, for long periods of time, is going to result in some kind of problem. If you drink carrot juice daily, in excess, for long periods of time, you skin will actually turn orange. But that shouldn't stop you from drinking carrot juice if you like it. In responsible amounts, it is extremely healthy for your eyes, skin, and immune system.       Colloidal silver is exactly the same. Used responsibly, it boosts immunity and heals bacterial, fungal and viral infections of all sorts. It even kills the deadly antibiotic-resistant MRSA pathogen (see www.ColloidalSilverCuresMRSA.com).   However, used excessively for long periods of time, it can turn your skin greyish-blue, because your intake exceeds the ability of your liver and kidney to excrete it. The key to responsible colloidal silver usage, obviously, is the dosage. There's a very helpful "Colloidal Silver Safe Dosage Report" at www.TheSilverEdge.
