Portable Breath Tester Detects Cancer

Lung cancer, one of the most fatal types of cancer can now be detected easily using a breathalyzer. This was discovered when a group of scientists in Israel devised a study using portable breathalyzer and detected lung cancer by 86 percent. This study provides a more accurate detection for fast, easy and cost-effective diagnosis for lung cancer. This particular device uses gold nanoparticles to detect VOC (volatile organic compounds) that are more elevated in cancer patients.
