Pro-God supporters hit back on the buses
The battle on the buses between humanist and Christian groups over whether God exists steps up with pro-god adverts set to hit London streets on the famous London buses.
These will be a direct response to the Humanist Society's adverts stating that there was probably no God.
Three separate groups are planning campaigns and whatever side you go with if the old adage that any publicity is good publicity holds true then God has never had it so good.
And it's not just in London but as seen here earlier on NowPublic it's happening in Canada too!
Three separate pro-God advert campaigns on the sides of London buses are set to hit city streets.
Buses adorned with the slogan "There definitely is a God" are from the Christian Party, while the Trinitarian Bible Society chose a Biblical verse.
The Russian Orthodox Church is also preparing bus adverts.
The adverts, which are unrelated, come a month after the British Humanist Association placed "no God" slogans on buses across England.
Those adverts, which read: "There probably is no God: so stop worrying and enjoy your life" prompted complaints from the group Christian Voice and from individuals.

But I thought the "There's Probably No God" campaign was in response to a pro-Christian campaign from the previous year?? This could go back and forth for ages...

AND, these ad campaigns have already been rejected in Victoria and Halifax...unclear whether the ads have been approved in Vancouver:

Religious and philosophical ads are supposedly not permitted within ads displayed through BC Transit.

Well I guess we might as well balance out the coverage! I just hope it doesn't go over the top and the next one will be like 'Satan; he does exist'.

Super post!
"There's no god, now stop worrying and enjoy your life".
I just love this.
Think about it. Whether you believe in "god" or not, it helps us all think about it.
Commendable campaign, to be taken at face value.
Yours prayfully,

Why did this site eliminate the word "Probably" from the advertisement which originall said"there's probably no god" but the headline seems to scream "there's no god"
This kind of blatant media manipulation is whats wrong with mass media today.
Report the news don't create or manipulate the news!

NowPublic does not manipulate or alter media - the advertisement pictured is simply another version of the original ad.

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, "There is no God."
