Seattle FDA Protest at Westlake on May 30th

A non toxic, non invasive Immunotherapy to strengthen the body’s ability to fight prostate cancer achieved its goal of being  supportive of the previous trials, as required by the FDA.

Mitchell Gold, Dendreon CEO, held a conference call to announce the results of the Provenge Impact Trial.

Here are some of Dr. Gold’s words concering the results: “met it’s pre specified end points” “confirms results of previous studies” “data met criteria and specifications of Biologics License Application” “results were robust” “results were unambiguous and held up to multiple sensitivity analysis” “a clear hit on statistical significance”.

It was great news for long suffering prostate cancer patients who are one step closer to gaining access to Provenge.

It was great news for people around the world seeking better, more humane treatments to fight cancer. Dendreon has a pipeline of immunotherapies on the back burner.

Here at Care To Live we are ecstatic. However our work is very far from over. We need the FDA to allow the men access to Provenge NOW!

We are already getting emails from people begging for access. The FDA needs to heed their cries, and speed the approval process through. These men have already been waiting for 2 years while the FDA dawdled. These men don’t have the luxury of wasting more time.

Mike Kearney had written to Andrew Schorr of Patient Power, to keep him updated. Mr. Schorr did a breaking news interview with a Urologist from Vanderbilt University to find out what he thought about Dendreon’s announcement today.

At the end of the interview, Andrew said “Doctor, you sound really excited about this.” The doctor said, “Yes, not only for prostate cancer but for other cancers as well.”

Untold thanks to all the DENDREON team in Seattle, Washington and Hanover, New Jersey for their hard work and unending dedication, and to all the Care To Live members and supporters along with Attorney Kerry Donahue for making this day possible.

Special thanks to our devoted webmaster Matt Jurmann of ChromaticSites.com

We urge the FDA to move swiftly.

It is highly to be appreciated that after long fights against insidious enemies Dendreon seems to have prevailed. Provenge can and will be the long-awaited medicine for those who were alsmost hopeless until yesterday.

Though dndn's enemies will go on fighting and slandering, maybe at last justice will prevail and the sick can get real help!

Finally, hope has arrived for late stage prostate cancer patients.  Since this therapy was recommended for approval 2 years ago by and AC panel, and because it was previously fast tracked by FDA, there should be no further delay beyond an FDA review of the data when it is made available to them.

FDA, APPROVE PROVENGE NOW....Many men have died during the two years that have passed since FDA issued a thumbs down after a panel of experts gave it a thumbs up!  Now let's get the product out there so those who still have life but whose lives are hanging by a thread have a decent chance without the devastating side effects that chemo would give them.  GO PROVENGE!!!

The amazing part of this story, to me, is that Dendreon's conference call said that their antigene cassette technology not only applies to prostate cancer, but also to breast, colon and kidney which I assume will be subject to testing in the future once this gets approved for prostate cancer.

It is my hope the FDA will now get off their collective bureaucratic butts and run their necessary tests and reviews to get this treatment to cancer victims soonest.

Approve Provenge NOW!

This Country amazes me. We have taken Corruption to a new level. We have a drug that should be on the market now for Dying Cancer patients. BUT we live in a Country where Greed and Corruption comes first. What is worse is that our Government even supports the Criminal's for the SEC which is well aware of the Corruption and CAN'T fix the problem for it has gone on for so long and the fix would cause a Revolution. That the stocks that now trade on the exchanges not only have Counterfeit shares but now the Counterfeit shares are even Counterfeit. If you thought Bernie Madoff was bad? You have NOT a clue on what lies ahead. The ENTIRE U.S. Stock/Equities & Futures markets are nothing more than one GIANT Ponzi scheme. Al-Qaeda has won the war for they are in control of the U.S. Government NOW!

That's it, the all american company has won, not just them but the world.

It is time for the sorcerers to fade away(drug pushers that is). Let the the grafting and unconcerned greedy of the big farma's, and their nasty little chattering hair-due helpers, go face their families, knowing they caused untold damage to thousands with their delay tactics.

Know also, there are no misteries in heaven, there is where the real trial begins. Try having a true change of heart, repent, and you might make it. Remember, mouthing the words won't wash. Those of you directly responsible, you know who you are, try acting in some way to correct your errors, help to speed the approval of Provenge, then ask the allmighty, and go your way in peace.

New hope for us with prostate cancer!  This is really a fantastic advancement. Let's hope it's approved soon.

Four Extra Months

It has been a long time between my first post as onegoalx10 (changed email and forgot password) and now. I still only own 500 shares. I wish and the Lord knows I could use many more. However, I am posting this for those who still down play the importance of getting this treatment into the public’s hands. From the illegal shorts making a living by destroying companies to the analysts that say the treatment process is too difficult for an extra four months.

This is for you Grandfather.

With three extra months you would have seen me graduate college. The first in our family.

With four extra months I could have told you stories about my backpacking trip through Europe.

With six extra months we could be enjoying our weekly Friday lunch but on my dime.

With three extra years you could have held your great granddaughter and your great grandson.

With six extra years I wouldn’t be eating lunch by myself on Friday’s.

The cancer knocked you down and the chemo took your pride. They forgot to take the ones that are here continuing the fight.

Dendreon not only has treatments for prostate cancer, but has hopes that one day they will also get approval for breast cancer, colon cancer etc immunotherapy.
