Purple Reigns for Children With Cancer

With a background as a guitarist/arranger/artist/ and general blah-blah,

I was deeply taken by the efforts of the folks over at Texas Children's

Hospital and the Purple Songs Can Fly Project. So I decided to give

them kudos on my Blog as I feel great things like this are meant to

be shared. Have a heart ? Use it !

Purple Songs Can Fly is a unique project that provides a musical outlet for the many children being treated for cancer and blood disorders at Texas Children’s Cancer Center...the children work with ....professional composers to write and record their own songs.

.... Because music and singing are known to be beneficial in the healing process, it is the hope that the process of creating, singing and recording original songs will provide health benefits in addition to a sense of pride and joy.
