I am really bugged by the newscaster introducing this with "the transgender lifestyle."
There is NO common lifestyle for trans people.

So, it is a joke when you talk about hitting a child with a shoe to make them not transgender. Ah, I see. I wonder if they used that excuse with gay bashing or lynching? Ah, it was just a joke. Advocating violance against a child is no joke.

I'm torn here. I listen to RA&D when I get the chance and I normally enjoy it. But here I feel split: part of me says "You don't have to like them, but that is their opinion on THEIR show and you don't have to listen" and the other part is saying "They have no right to say any of what they said."
When it comes down to it, yeah, I think less of Rob and Arnie; but if that's what they feel, then firing them isn't going to change their opinion, it's what they feel. If you don't like it, ignore it.
