Report: Intruder Arrested at Miley Cyrus' Home

Hoping to meet the famous pop star, an intruder was captured on Miley Cyrus' property in Los Angeles early this morning (September 8).

The alleged trespasser, identified as Jason Luis Rivera, reportedly jumped the "Hannah Montana" star's fence and was found in the bushes.

According to Lt. Brian Wendling of the L.A. PD, several employees inside the Studio City home called police around 4 a.m. Saturday after a man came to the door claiming to be a friend of the 19-year-old singer/actress. Wendling said the suspect had repeatedly thrown himself against an outside wall, "as if he was trying to break into the house". 

Upon being arrested, Luis Rivera was found to be in possession of scissors.

The motive behind the unwelcome visit seems obvious, as the crazed fan had declared his intent to see Miley. Luckily for Billy Ray's daughter, she was not at home at the time of the incident.  

Lt. Wendling said that no charges had yet been filed against Jason Luis Rivera. 

This close encounter doesn't mark the first time Miss Cyrus has brushed with danger. Just last month, police rushed to her home after receiving a report that shots had been fired there. Fortunately for everyone, the 911 call wound up being a false report.

Though they're all different, the pics follow a similar thread - a vampire theme and a smoldering stare. The former Disney Channel beauty is getting ready to release more details about her upcoming album, and kicked it off with these promotional shots.

On Thursday (September 6) the "Last Song" actress was spotted at the MTV VMAs, where she showed off her new look in a black dress.

Regarding her dramatic new haircut, Miley recently gushed, "It was the most amazing feeling — just taking the razor and finally doing it, buzzing the side," adding, "It just feels so much more me."

Turns out the singer isn't the only fan of her new 'do-she says fiance Liam Hemsworth loves it too. "He’s totally for it. He likes just being able to see my face. He thinks it suits me so much."
