David Axelrod and President Obama Have taken another look at dropping the public health option. Czar Axelrod said that the public option should not be the focus of the reform bill and is now touting the parts of the bill that aid those already with healthcare.

As the time draws near for President Obama's speech on Wednesday, the country waits with the wondering if the US government will take control of the healthcare industry as it has with the bailouts of industry and finances.

Through all of the town halls, news releases and the hard division of the American populace, why there has been no mention of the other healthcare reform proposal. Should the citizens just take for granted that the bill we hear about is better than the other? After all, the fighting has been over the socialization of healthcare through the public option. We haven't heard about the rest of the bill. With fast waining support, the President only has two choices for this proposal. Either retool the bill to have it without total government control or to force the public option. We should see Wednesday.
