Bills TE Kevin Everett injury update
September 11th, 2007
Fellow
football fiends, as many of you most likely know, 25 year old Kevin
Everett, the back up tight end for the Buffalo Bills, suffered a
catastrophic spinal cord injury this weekend in a helmet to helmet hit
that happened during Buffalo’s game against the Denver Broncos.
Yesterday doctors were reporting that his injury was still life
threatening and chances were great that he would never walk again.
Well, I don’t know about you, but news like that always makes me cry.
However, some GREAT NEWS came out about Everett today. He’s been able to move his arms and
legs. Doctors are now saying this greatly improves his prognosis and
chances of being able to walk again as most patients with this type of
injury do not show such significant movement so shortly after surgery.
Please keep Everett and his family in your prayers and good wishes
football fans. I am a big believer in positive energy helping. And even
if you are not a believer in that philosophy, look at it like this: How
can a positive thought hurt anyone?
