Our family favorites are almost always a Costa Rican Arabica variety of dark brewed coffee. Former students got me started on a variety of fantastic coffees -- on could never remember my favorite brand, so would end up bringing me 6 or 8 different ones. Hey, why not branch out? These days I frequently get to travel there to visit our department's fieldstation, QERC, in San Gerardo de Dota right in the middle of resplendent quetzals.
