A same-sex couple with three foster children were denied a family rate to their local community pool in eastern Idaho, because the state does not recognize their family as a real family.
Amber Koger and Jeri Underwood have three foster children and they wanted to go swim in their community pool but the Lava Hot Springs State Foundation who run the pool say that they do not fit the definition of a family.
Mark Lowe, executive director for the Lava Hot Springs State Foundation, says the state doesn't recognize gay or lesbian marriage and defines a family as one male, one female and children.
Under Idaho law, the State Springs Foundation is correct.

I am in agreement with Tina. I don't know where to begin either. Thanks for this, Amy!

Totally and utterly ridiculous.
