NP Rank:
Scrambled Eggs Aborting a fetus because it's not yours.
I'm surprised that there are doctors who specialize in IVF treatment that insert the wrong embryo in a mother's womb. This is quite shocking coming from a doctor based in Japan., especially since Japan donates alot of funds to poor countries that are in need of a wide range of facilities including medical facilities.
It's sad that the couple decided to abort the fetus. My heart goes out to the unborn baby who had every right to live but was denied that right and instead was killed.
Would you abort a fetus just because it wasn't yours?
The question sounds crazy. How could it not be yours? If it's in your body, you must be the mom, right?
Wrong. Through in vitro fertilization, you can get pregnant with somebody else's fetus. Thousands of surrogates already have. You can also carry an unrelated child using donor eggs and sperm. But these are things you'd have to sign up for. The scary scenario is the one you never expect: going through IVF and discovering, weeks into your pregnancy, that your doctor put the wrong embryo in your womb.

Every profession is held accountable except for Politicians. Still those error do happen in every Hospital around the globe. Up to 4% of such errors are recorded in the western world and over 17% in non Industrialized countries. Updates are available through the UN.

This should be marked as an opinion. You intro is defamation and slander based on hate. You take this out of context.

Sara just look at the misdiagnosis of cancer in Newfoundland. Many women suffered because of this. So that the wrong embryo is used for IVF insemination is not a surprise. What happens when it.s discovered is a questionable practice. Unfortunately doctors make mistakes all the time, as do lawyers, plumbers, drivers and our Members of Parlimament.
