scraped knee

I'm all for allowing our kids to take risks. I certainly had my share of scrapes, cuts and bruises while still experiencing what it's like to really have fun as a kid. My son will do the same (as you can see from the knee picture). I encourage him to balance while walking on logs, wade in the creek, climb trees and many other things, all while still being sensible about things. I won't allow him to do something stupid or dumb like ride anything with wheels without a helmet, but I let him be a little boy and have as much fun taking risks as possible. That ultimately leads to MAJOR FUN!
