SAMED Jade Goody has revealed a diet pill torment that made her grow a beard.

Side-effects of the addiction have also vastly increased her chances of developing cancer.

Mum-of-two Jade, 26, is admitting for the first time what happened when she bought £100-a-time pills from dodgy doctors.

She said: "I'm not a hairy person but my face started to grow hair and my teeth went bad. I just felt drained and looked pale and ill.

"I would feel really agitated and forget things. I got cautious of being around people I didn't know. It was really awful. I could even get bowel cancer because of what I've done to my body."

Getting off the pills has been an uphill struggle. Jade said: "There is no point looking all good and glamorous in your grave, is there?

"I'll have permanent side-effects. If I have more children I'll need blood transfusions because of blood clotting trouble. And I'm prone to miscarriages.

"I'm always going to have bowel problems. I'll have to go into hospital and get cleaned out.

"It's embarrassing to talk about it because it sounds gross and disgusting.

"I'm doing this because I want people to know diet pills mess your body up."
