NP Rank:
Shoe have been warned, ladies
Women know high heels aren't good for their feet, and they don't deny that they're uncomfortable. But the fact is, women would continue to wear high heels, even though they did not think them comfortable. Mark it up to the price of beauty.
HIGH heels are wrecking women’s health — putting more than 20,000 a year in HOSPITAL.
Gwyneth Paltrow, 35, has led the trend for sky-high heels, showing off SEVEN-INCH stilettos at a photo shoot in Rome.
But almost a third of women suffer permanent pain from the stylish shoes, research revealed. More than a third have fallen and hurt themselves while wearing them.
Teens are among the worst hit — with under-18s about 50 TIMES more likely to have hip trouble than their mothers.

Pain in the wallet, pain in the foot, pain in the back/hip/knee... but oh, those elongated calves. Just do one day of sneakers, one day of heels... or be a weekend warrior. And, make sure they FIT... those toe talons gripping over the edge of the front of your shoes are just nasty, Ladies.

i recently went to a basketball game and at half-time a great teacher brought her young 10 year olds out on court to march up and down a bit and do a few cheers - they were nervous so she joined them and led them up and down court... but she was wearing high-heel stilettos and left indentations all over the court... but the crowd loved her, her pupils and her shoes!
