Six-kg baby born in Banda Aceh

"We never thought the baby could weigh twice as much as a normal one. It`s the very first time for me to see such a huge baby in my 20 years of experience as a doctor," Dr. Moh. Andalas said here on Thursday.

The extra-large infant was the second child of a couple identified as Firdaus (42) and Ernawaty (35), residents of Cot Mon Raya village, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar District.
