Slim-Fast Meal Replacement Drinks on Recall List

Unilever Canada Inc. is putting some of their Slim-Fast Meal Replacement drinks on a recall list. There is the chance that they have been contaminated with Bacillus cereus. These products have been distributed nationally. A description of the recalled products follows.

Hazard: Bacillus cereus may cause intestinal distress such as abdominal cramps and diarrhoea.
Fix: If you have the recalled product, do not consume it. You should phone the Unilever Consumer line at 1 800 896 9479 to find out how to get a refund.
The recall of the Slim-Fast products follows a recent recall of Nutrisystem Peanut Butter Granola Bars because of the possibility of contamination by Salmonella bacteria.

I have not received my refund check. I have been requesting it since December.
