Source: Demi Moore "in a Much Better Place" Following Treatment
It's been over a month since she was taken from her home to a medical facility to receive desperately needed treatment, and now Demi Moore is reportedly well on her way to recovery.
According to a People magazine source, the 49-year-old actress - who has completed rehab and returned to Los Angeles - is looking forward to what's deemed as a new beginning.
"Demi is in a much better place," the People insider dished. "She has been working on herself a lot."
Having ventured off on a post-treatment island vacation prior to her Tinseltown return, the source added that Moore is "content" with her current situation and ready to start moving forward with life.
The “Charlie’s Angels” actress reportedly jetted off to the Caribbean following her stint at the Utah-based Cirque Lodge, and on Sunday night (March 4) she was spotted Stateside and en route to LA.
According to an inside source, Moore opted to take the relaxing vacation in order to have a “reality break” and regroup. "She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people," told an E! source.
The news came as Demi's new movie "L.O.L.: Laughing Out Loud" hit theaters in Singapore last Thursday (March 1). It's set for a limited Stateside theatrical release on May 4th.
Moore was rushed to the hospital back in January after a close friend found her in distress and called 911.
It's been months since he publicly talked about his estranged wife, but sources tell People magazine that Ashton Kutcher did indeed visit Demi Moore in the hospital.
The "Two and a Half Men" star is said to have checked up on his ex since her health crisis started back in January because "he knew it was important to her daughters," says the source.
Moore has three daughters with her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, and, although the "Punk'd" star showed some love on their behalf, "they are not getting back together," the People insider adds.
34-year-old Kutcher has been keeping busy preparing for a new season of "Punk'd" - which set to begin airing on Thursday, March 29 on MTV at 10/9c.
