Steps and Stones

Symmetry, I love it.

This image was taken near summertime, the way the picture can be split down the middle with each girl either side looking at the young lady in the middle really works for me. The three colourful dress and intense sunlight on the paving stones makes it pop for me. I have tried this kind of shot here many times, with many people of various ages and sexes, this one worked as best it could at the time I guess.

It is not perfect sadly, but it is nearly at the place which I wanted it to be. Shame about the dark top of the picture, I wish the sun was higher and left a brighter image, I like the ladies shadows mind you. Its a little noisey it has to be said, which gets on my nerves. I need a Digital SLR (one day!).

Took this from Prince Bishops Shopping centre high up, these young ladies were walking past Chase bar up to the steps into Durham marketplace.
