Sterling Pacific Meat Co. has recalled 3,500 pounds of beef due to E. Coli suspicion. No illnesses have been reported so far. The recalled meat was sold wholesale under the Fatburger and Stock Yards brands in Californa and Arizona, and are not thought to have made out into public consumption.

The patties were made on May 18 and distributed to wholesale food service companies, who sold the meat to restaurants in California and Arizona, according to USDA.
The ground beef products were produced on May 18, 2009, and were distributed at the wholesale level to food service companies, who further distributed the product to restaurants in Calif. and Ariz. FSIS has no reason to believe that these products are available for sale in commerce.
