STRIKE HOLDS PROSTATE AWARENESS

THE Strike Foundation headed by Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Strike Revilla will hold a prostate awareness program tomorrow, 8 a.m. at the ABC Hall.
    
“The campaign aims to provide general health care to men in Bacoor, provide awareness on the importance of men’s health and provide a venue for camaraderie as well a focus activity among men in Bacoor,” said Revilla.
   
He added that during the drive, men with prostate and sexual health problems will be examined and given proper evaluation. Also to be examined are male residents with cataracts, cardiac problems and other illnesses.
   
There will also be lectures and symposia on men’s health which will tackle prostate and men’s sexual health. The campaign also aims to organize the men in Bacoor into a cohesive, interactive and proactive group that will provide a venue for social interaction among the members, organizational activities like medical missions, fund raising activities, and other socio- civic activities that will benefit the association and Bacoor as a whole.
   
“It will also provide opportunity for  Bacoor men contribute in whatever manner to the groups’ growth and be counted as productive citizen of the municipality,” said Strike Foundation managing director, Atty. Lani Sia.
   
The program’s director on prostate awareness is Dr. Sam Ynastorza.
