Lowell, MA – According to several reports, on Friday, June 6th there were hundreds of children sent home from the
Lowell Community Charter School located at 206 Jackson Street, Lowell, MA. The
Community Teamwork, Inc. of Lowell also reported sending children home with suspicious symptoms that were later diagnosed as the Swine Flu. There were two students from the
Charter School that have been confirmed to have the Swine Flu. The Lowell Board of Health has been called in to inspect the school and to get information from staff members regarding the illnesses reported. "Everyone is so afraid that this flu was caused by the ham meal that was given to the students this past week," said an anonymous parent. She said, "my son has a very high fever and until he has a fever that has been gone for at least 24 hours he is not allowed back in school." According to other families in that area, students are asked to remain out of the school for at least seven days after they have been fever free. "The school is in the process of being sanitized this weekend according to staff at the school. If you have any questions regarding this flu epidemic please call your local Board of Health and the Lowell Superintendent of Schools.

This is getting scarier by the minute. If I'm not wrong, we hit 1,000,000 infections on 27 Jun 09 as reported in BBC. God save the world.
