This is a picture of the tanning bed at Boom Fitness Center of Valdosta. There are mainly two types of ultraviolet rays produced from a tanning bed: Ultraviolet A and Ultraviolet B. The UVA rays received in the tanning bed are two to three times more powerful than the UVA rays you receive from the sun. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer and approximately 90% of all skin cancers can be traced to ultraviolet exposure.
