The world of high tech and the oldest profession have combined in North Vancouver with the discovery that teen girls are selling sex on Craigslist. According to the authorities, some girls are acting independently but the majority are caught up in prostitution rings.
Girls under the age of 18 are selling sex on Craigslist, according to police in North Vancouver, and are likely forced into it after falling under the influence of a sex-trafficking ring.
North Vancouver RCMP are reporting a spike in underage sex trade workers on the North Shore, some as young as 13, who claim to be 18 or older in their online ads.
Craigslist today carries many personal ads, some of the ads posters claim ages of 18 and some 19. I didn't click on the ads for more details. Changes have been made to Craigslist in the States whereby personal ads are subject to more regulations.
