A recent suicide involving a 15-year-old British boy may be linked to an increase in his Ritalin prescription according to a story published in the Daily Mail.<?xml:namespace prefix = o /> Anthony Cole had been taking Ritalin to combat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for six years but had recently had his dosage increased. Shortly after the increase the teen began acting differently around his family and on Saturday his father found him hanging in his room.

More and more cases like this are showing up in the news. Long-term effects of medications for ADHD and depression are just not known.
