This photo was taken outside my shop in Maple Ridge British Columbia Canada. I also feed Homeless people here in town,and i have been clean and sober for 15 years. i did it by stopping the drugs and not using again. making it legal will not stop it. i help Drug addicts daily and it is really sad that people think if it is legal it will go away. get more treatment centers

I think that the legalization of drugs has more to do with not putting more homeless and addicted people in jail further ruining their lives. There should be more treatment centres and more community support for peoples with addiction and mental illness; but I think there should also be decriminalization. Not because it will stop the problem of drug addiction but because sending drug addicted people to jail is not the remedy to the problem. The way we treat the most down and out is a reflection of the deepest values in our society and its not looking good these days. I live in Maple Ridge and appreciate your contribution to our community.
