The Canadian consumer watchdog is recalling two electrical products imported from China because of the possibility of electric shock.

1.

This recall involves fluorescent portable lamps that were manufactured by Guangzhou Glorious Lighting Ltd. The recalled products can be identified by model number 15844-001.
Hazard Identified
The recalled lamps may overheat around the lamp holder, causing the surrounding plastic material to soften and deform, possibly ignite, and expose live electrical parts to the consumer. This poses a shock and fire hazard to consumers.

The number of units sold is unknown.  They have a manufacture date of 2007.
